Hindustan Hydraulics (HHPL) was incorporated in 1965 to cater to the growing domestic industrial sector. Its goal from the outset was to develop metal-processing solutions to match or exceed the best machines in the international market. The portfolio included hydraulic presses for forming, deep drawing, forging, and bailing scrap, augmented over the years by machines for metal fabrication.

In the domestic market, HHPL is considered the preferred vendor by the top engineering companies, in the private as well as public sectors, with more than 7,000 installations.
