Jones Metal Products Co.
Specializing in deep-draw hydroforming, Jones metal Products can form complex geometries and types of material that other manufacturers struggle with. Presses can draw a 32-in. blank to a diameter of 27.5 in. and a depth up to 12 in. or parts up to 72 in. long, 27 in. wide and 5 in. deep.
Materials include:
–Aluminum: 6061, 7075, 2024
–Stainless steel: 304L, 316, 409, 17-4 and 17-7
–Red metals: brass, bronze, copper
–Titanium: Grade 2, 15-15-15, 15-3-3
–Hastelloy, Inconel, Kovar, cobalt, lead, molybdenum, high-nickel alloys, clad metals, galvanized steel.
Trim can be held to +/- 0.015 in. on a 5-axis laser machine or +/- 0.005 in. on a 5-axis machining center.
