Jack Havlis started Keystone Metal Products in Chicago in the 1930’s. The Company fabricated bird cages, candle sconces, and other wire and metal items until it had to pause operations during World War II due to material shortages. After the war, Keystone resumed operations in Hebron, Illinois, 60 miles northwest of Chicago and just south of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. By the early 1970’s, the Company’s business was almost exclusively producing custom displays, and the name was changed to Keystone Display.

In 1993, Keystone Display was purchased by the Streit Family. A period of extensive growth and change followed the acquisition, including an expansion of capabilities, improved processes, and a focus on design and value engineering. Under the management of John Streit, Keystone established itself as leader in the Point of Purchase Display industry and the preferred provider of metal and wire displays for some of the world’s most recognized brands.

In 2019, Bruce Fiegel, trusted employee and 25-year veteran of Keystone, purchased the Company with his business partner, Brian Burke. Today, Keystone Display remains owner-managed. It employs over 70 people and serves more than 150 customers annually. It operates out of Hebron, Illinois in a 75,000 square foot facility that is entirely solar powered.
