In 1985, Roper Whitney made a strategic purchase by adding the “Connecticut” line of manual brakes, known for being among the most accurate and dependable in the industry. The addition of this line made Roper Whitney a leading supplier of high quality sheet metal fabricating equipment.
TennSmith, a market leader for sheet metal fabricating machinery and metal forming equipment, purchased Roper Whitney in 2011. Joining together, the Roper Whitney and TennSmith companies offer the most complete line of American made sheet metal machinery on the market today.
