Toolspress®, manufacturer of precison-ground press brake tooling since 1984, offers the quick-release press brake tool clamping system – ‘SmartClamp'. Thru its' patented slide mechanism, the SmartClamp system enables efficient loading and unloading of tools from the front of the brake. The system's self-seating feature eliminates applying tonnage to seat, center and align tooling. The self-seating SmartClamp holds tooling in two positions, up and in applying strong clamping pressure holding all sectionalized tools for precision fit. This system is designed for maximum performance eliminating bolt adjustments, alignment or tool dropping, and routine maintenance!

The SmartClamp utilizes modular punch and quick-change die systems reducing tooling setups many times that of traditional methods. The system is designed to reduce tooling setups and increase part productivity without the addition of expensive buttons or hydraulics. The SmartClamp system provides over three hundred tool profiles as standard. The SmartClamp system is designed to integrate to both new and used press brakes.
