Magnatech names sales director

Magnatech, East Granby, Conn., has hired Scott Anthony as director of sales and marketing for the Western Hemisphere. Anthony has more than 20 years of senior-level sales and marketing experience with advanced motion control technology. Previously he worked for Gerber Scientific Inc., and most recently he was with Naiad Marine Inc., responsible for domestic and international sales, marketing, new-business development, and channel development.

The company designs and manufactures equipment for orbital tube and pipe GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW. Applications include field construction and maintenance for the fossil and nuclear power generation and semiconductor industries, as well as the U.S. nuclear submarine fleet.
