Wall Colmonoy adds staff

Wall Colmonoy, Madison Heights, Mich., a global materials engineering group of companies engaged in the manufacturing of surfacing and brazing products, castings, and engineered components, has announced the hiring of Ed Kanters as CFO and Cindy Vario as corporate human resources manager.

Kanters has extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and strategic planning, as well as ERP implementation and process re-engineering within a multiple-location manufacturing environment.

His new responsibilities include treasury functions, ensuring financial reporting accuracy, cost analysis, accounting, credit control, establishing business-unit metrics, and key performance indicators. He oversees the capital budgeting and audit processes, manages acquisitions, and plays an integral role in leading the company's information technology function.

Vario has more than 15 years of experience directing human resource and personnel initiatives. At Peerless Steel Co., she was responsible for plan administration, employee benefits and compensation, compliance with federal and state laws, as well as operations and contract negotiation. Before that she spent several years managing the HR function at Pitney Bowes Management Services.
