MetoKote receives Quality Performance Achievement Certificate from Toyota

MetoKote Corp., Lima, Ohio, a global protective coatings supplier, has announced that its San Antonio facility has received a Quality Performance Achievement Certificate from Toyota for the second consecutive year.

The certificate is awarded based on a supplier’s showing exceptional performance levels associated with parts per million that surpass Toyota's stringent target levels. MetoKote San Antonio achieved a 0 PPM level of performance on Tier 1 Toyota business for all of 2013, after achieving the same performance level in 2012.

The facility houses an electrocoat indexing monorail system that coats more than 150 different Toyota Tundra® and Tacoma® components for Toyota direct and for other Tier 1 suppliers located in the park. MetoKote is Toyota's only Tier 1 custom coater and provides services tied to every Toyota NAMC and every North American Toyota platform.
