Jervis B. Webb Co. hires president, co-CEO

Jervis B. Webb Co., a wholly owned subsidiary of Daifuku Co. Ltd. and provider of material handling systems, has announced the appointment of Brian Stewart as president and co-CEO. Stewart replaces Ryuichi Kitaguchi, who has retired from the company.

Previously Stewart served as executive vice president and COO. He joined the company in 1981 as a junior engineer and has held numerous positions, including vice president of engineering and senior vice president of operations.

Stewart received his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan. He is a member of the Engineering Society of Detroit's board of directors, as well as Webb's board of directors.

With headquarters in Farmington Hills, Mich., Jervis B. Webb Co. has manufacturing locations in Harbor Springs and Boyne City, Mich.; Carlisle, S.C.; Canada; India; and China.
