Serapid names vice president/general manager

Serapid Inc., Sterling Heights, Mich., a supplier of linear-motion technologies, has announced that Dennis H. Lucas has joined the organization as vice president and general manager. In this position, he leads the daily management of engineering, manufacturing and operational activities, as well as client relationships.

In his career of more than 30 years in manufacturing, Lucas has specialized in strategic planning, domestic and international sales, new-business development, client relationships, as well as quality assurance and management of departmental operations. He most recently served as president and CEO of DS Technology Inc.
