Ulbrich opens trading company/service center in Hong Kong

Ulbrich Stainless Steels & Special Metals Inc., North Haven, Conn., an international supplier of custom rolled strip, foil, flat, and shaped wire products, has opened a trading company/service center in Hong Kong. Ulbrich Asia Metals Limited, located in Kwai Chung, is the company's second Asian facility.

The Hong Kong location improves Ulbrich's ability to supply titanium, nickel, and cobalt alloys, along with stainless steel, to its Asian customer base, the company reports. The 1,000-sq.-m facility stocks and supplies alloys and has finishing capabilities and room for expansion.

The company has five production facilities—four in the U.S. and one in Ireland—and seven service centers, three in the U.S., two in Canada, and the others in Mexico and Hong Kong.

The company's engineered materials support applications in the aerospace, medical, nuclear, power generation, automotive, electronics, chemical, and petrochemical industries.
