Bacou-Dalloz appoints new CEO

Henri-Dominique Petit assumed the CEO position at Bacou-Dalloz June 7. He also became a company director at the company's May shareholders' meeting.

Petit has a master's degree in engineering from the Ecole Suprieure de Physique et Chimie de Paris, a postgraduate degree in nuclear physics, and a Ph.D. in corpuscular electronics. He also attended the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD.

Petit joined the Kodak group in 1975, where he held several operational and general management positions, both in France and the U.S., before being named president for the Asia-Pacific region in 2001, a position based in Shanghai. In 2003 he was given additional responsibility to provide leadership for Kodak's other non-U.S. regions and was elected as a senior vice president of the company.
