Donaldson expands testing capabilities

Donaldson Co. Inc., a manufacturer of filtration systems and parts in Minneapolis, has opened three new test labs in China, India, and the U.S.

The company has added a new testing lab in the Greater China R&D Center at its regional headquarters in Wuxi, China, to support the rapid expansion of its Engine Products business in the region. The lab can conduct such performance tests as high-precision restriction curves, dust-holding capacity, initial and overall efficiencies, and water separation efficiency.

At its regional headquarters and manufacturing plant in Gurgaon, State of Haryana, India, the company has added an air-intake testing lab.

Donaldson Torit®, a division of Donaldson's Industrial Filtration Solutions business, has opened a new test lab in Bloomington, Minn., to evaluate combustible and noncombustible materials in new and existing filtration products. The environmentally controlled lab features full suppression and isolation equipment, allowing Torit to run full-sized tests on-site.
