General Sheet Metal Works hires VP of engineering

General Sheet Metal Works, South Bend, Ind., has hired Michael Pound as vice president of engineering. He is responsible for developing engineering and manufacturing capabilities and deploying them at all of the company's plants.

Formerly CEO of Koontz-Wagner in South Bend, Pound has more than 25 years of experience as a senior manufacturing executive with global responsibilities. He holds a bachelor's degree in production engineering and management from Loughborough University in England.
