LAI International Inc., a supplier of precision components and subassemblies for original equipment manufacturers, has won its third-consecutive ACE Award for corporate excellence. The company was recognized Sept. 16 as a Top-50 Private Company ranked by revenue at the 16th Annual Arizona Corporate Excellence awards ceremony in Phoenix.
LAI was the only industrial manufacturing company to win an ACE Award. ACE organizers ranked LAI as the 42nd largest private company in Arizona.
"We consider it a significant honor for LAI to be recognized among its peers in the business community with an ACE Award," said Director of Marketing Matt Kalina, "We're especially pleased to have received an ACE Award three years in a row."
The company won two ACE awards — one for top-25 fastest-growing private company and a second for top-50 private company — in 2008 and 2009, respectively.
The largest private companies in Arizona recognized by ACE generate revenues of more than $15 billion per year. They employ more than 40,000 employees in Arizona and more than 56,000 worldwide.
Other notable 2010 ACE Award rankings include Discount Tire at number 1; Go Daddy, 7; LifeLock, 19; American Traffic Solutions, 21; Copper State Bolt & Nut Co., 30; and McMurray marketing communications, 41.
