TRUMPF Ltd. names managing director

Annette Doyle will take on the role of managing director of TRUMPF Ltd., Luton, Bedfordshire, U.K., a subsidiary of the TRUMPF Group, effective July 1. In this role, she is responsible for business operations in the U.K., including customer service, technical training, product sales, and applications.

She succeeds Scott Simpson, who is leaving the company after more than 20 years to pursue his own individual projects.

Doyle previously served at TRUMPF Inc., Farmington, Conn., as assembly manager for the company’s U.S.-produced fabricating machines. Before that she served as training manager.

Doyle holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in technology management.
