Coe Press Equipment installs press feeding line at North American Stamping Group

Sterling Heights, Mich.-based Coe Press Equipment has installed a new press feeding line at North American Stamping Group (NASG)’s Portland, Tenn., facility, which produces stamped parts and welded assemblies for the automotive industry.

The 72-in. line can process coil from 0.040- to 0.325-in.-thick material depending on the width and steel strength. It features a 72-in. servo roll feed with a ServoMaster Touch controller, a 72-in. by 14-ft. dual threading table with a roller top, and a 50,000-lb.-capacity coil reel. The line also includes a Coe 406 power straightener featuring ultrasonic variable-speed loop control with a three-position selector switch.
