Industrial Innovations supplying die lube-spray application systems to Van-Rob
- January 12, 2015

- Bending and Forming
Grandville, Mich.-based Industrial Innovations, a manufacturer of industrial lubrication equipment for operation in metalworking industries including metal forming, die casting, machining, and stamping, has announced that Van-Rob Inc., an automotive manufacturer for the design and manufacture of large structural assemblies, chassis components, and crash energy management systems, has ordered three pedestal-style Spra-Rite die lubricant-spray applicator systems for use at its Waverly, Ohio, facility.
The patented systems precisely regulate the volume and placement of lubricant at specific areas of the stamping or drawing tools or the stock at predetermined press stroke intervals. The pedestal-style units can be moved to various presses as needed.
The injector valves of the four-injector, six-injector, and 10-injector manifold-style machines can be programmed independently for lubricant-spray application including skip cycle counting, delay spray, and volume control. Each system can store and recall up to 200 spray pattern profiles, allows editing of existing programs, and can communicate with most press controls.
The units’ controls include a PLC and a data display with alphanumeric programming of the valves, nozzle purge or test, and dual-alarm outputs for management of the safety features.
