Magic Coil Products purchases multiblanking line

Magic Coil Products LLC, Butler, Ind., has ordered a multiblanking line from Red Bud Industries, Red Bud, Ill. The line will include a precision grip feed system and CNC programmable slitter, giving the company the capability to produce blanks with width and length tolerances of +0.005 in.

The slitter can be set up in less than 2 min., according to the manufacturer. While the operator is setting up the slitting head, the strip divider positioning system automatically sets up the dividers in the strip stacker so it is ready to run blanks when slitting head setup is complete. The line will process coils up to 50,000 lbs. at widths up to 72 in. and thicknesses up to 0.140 in.
