Varsteel purchases Herr-Voss Stamco leveling technology

Herr-Voss Stamco, a Callery, Pa.-based provider of coil processing systems, has received an order from Varsteel Ltd. of Lethbridge, Alb., for an ELT™ Enhanced Leveling Technology retrofit. The leveler processes material up to 0.500 by 96 in. wide

The technology produces flat material during and after postprocessing by lasers, plasma, and waterjet cutting. The technology can be deployed as part of a new cut-to-length line, a complement to an existing cut-to-length line, or as a stand-alone process with the ability to enhance individual sheets.
