Digital FCAW orbital pipe welding system uses push-pull system for positive feeding

A new Pipeliner model from Magnatech uses a push-pull system for positive feeding. The 30-lb. standard wire spool helps lower consumable cost, according to the manufacturer. The head welds pipes from 6 in. to 60 in.

The system allows contractors to use standard 30-degree V bevels to help eliminate field remachining. The digital model replaces the analog version.
