GTAW power supply delivers multipurpose welding for tube, pipe
The Liburdi Group of Companies, Dimetrics® Division, has introduced the ORBITIG™ 240 GTAW power supply and control system. The lightweight, portable welding power supply employs PC-controlled, segmented schedule generation for flexible parameter control of the welding process.
The new design features increased data storage, allowing technicians to input multiple schedules and record parameters during the welding application; wide current range capability; modular design; and built-in cooling fluid. It is suitable for tube joining, small-bore pipe, heat exchanger, and process pipe applications.
The power supply is compatible with the company's orbital welding tools, including the J, L, and M series of mechanized welding systems.
