Nozzle spray station helps reduce spatter buildup in single spray

The Torch Wizard™ nozzle spray station from ELCo helps reduce spatter buildup on GMAW nozzles in a single spray. It coats the nozzle bore, face, and exterior simultaneously.

Two models are available: pneumatic for semiautomatic applications and electric—which can be actuated by using a programmable logic controller—for five-pin connector robotic applications. When used with Blue Magic™ or Blue Chill™ antispatter, the spray station helps improve gas flow and weld quality, extend nozzle life, and increase weld cell uptime, states the company. Operators can mount the unit vertically or horizontally based on the cell setup.
