Robotic welding cells come ready to weld

ESAB Welding & Cutting Products has introduced the Swift Arc series of pre-engineered robotic welding cells. Three models — AL (angle-load), FL (front-load), and SL (side-load) — are available, delivered ready to weld.

Standard features include the power source and wire feeder, TruArc Voltage, harmonized motion between the robot and external axes, open-architecture Windows® HMI, a PC-based controller, constant wrist orientation function, and electronic mastering for quick calibration.

Each system comes with a Marathon Pac of bulk welding wire and Aristo RT robotic torch. The torches' universal contact tips can be interchanged between water-cooled and gas-cooled torches.

The AL features a simple cell design with manual doors and two independent working locations. The FL is for use with small to medium-size parts with very high production rates. The SL is designed for use with larger parts with very high production rates.
