Electric hairpin bender produces 4,000 hairpins/hr.

The Oak Triumph electric hairpin bender from Burr Oak Tool Inc. features throughput capacities of up to 4,000 hairpins/hr., handling eight parts per cycle. The machine processes tubes up to 0.375 in. dia.

The bender features stretch straightening to produce straight tubes, a feed and cut system for consistent leg lengths, and flexibility for producing a variety of hairpin lengths. A servo hitch feed replaces the belt feed used on previous designs. Tooling changes can be made in less than an hour, the company states.

Other features include intuitive operator interface using the touchscreen, with length changes made in less than 30 seconds, and independent tube clamping for variations in tube diameter without causing clamp marks on the hairpins.
