Press brake bends small- to medium-sized parts

The PPRM precision press brake from Strippit/LVD features a motor design that delivers working speeds up to 59 IPM at reduced load. It is suitable for bending small- to medium-sized high-precision parts.

The 35-ton machine has a working length of 49.2 in. The ram supported by springs uses two single-acting hydraulic cylinders. Each hydraulic cylinder is connected directly with a hydraulic pump driven by a servomotor. There are no switching valves in the hydraulic circuit and no lapsed time in the ram cycle because of mechanical movement of the valves.

The machine features a 3.9-in. throat, allowing access to both ends of the ram and bed for tool loading. The machine provides an open height of 15.1 in., ram stroke of 7.3 in., backgauge X-axis travel of 19.7 in., and R-axis travel of 7.8 in.
