GTAW rod eliminates gas purging in pipe welding
Cor-Met Inc. offers QWP flux-coated GTAW rod for pipe welding. It forms a slag on the backside of a pipe, protecting the weld from oxidation and eliminating the need for gas purging and backing.
Available grades are 308H, 308L, 309L, 316L, 347, 2209, 625, 80SB2 /B6 / B8, and 90SB9. Special chemistries are available by request.
