Finishing products offered for welding applications

Osborn offers the Welders Choice™ line of finishing products for welding applications. The line includes stringer bead brushes, scratch brushes, and cup brushes.

The stringer bead brushes, including the refined TY™ encapsulated stringer bead brushes developed by the company in conjunction with offshore pipeline companies, are designed to clean J-weld joints. The narrow-face, aggressive knots employ improved elastomers, the company reports.

The scratch brushes are made with kiln-dried hardwood for maximum tuft retention in severe applications. High-quality wire fill improves cutting ability and fatigue resistance.

The cup brushes, which include TY encapsulated cup brushes, mount on portable and electric tools and finishing machines. They are suitable for surface prep and removing burrs.

The company also offers abrasive products for cutting, finishing, and grinding.
