Finishing tool includes pipe polishing attachment
Wendt USA has introduced the new FPM 230, a portable, electric finishing and polishing tool. The unit, which features a 900- to 2,500-RPM variable-speed control, can be configured as an orbital polisher or linear finishing tool for flat and irregular parts. With the addition of an optional belt attachment, users can grind, finish, and polish tubes up to 10 in. dia.
A variety of finishing and felt polishing discs, 4- by 4-in. finishing flap rolls, and ceramic and nonwoven pipe finishing belts are available.
The compact, lightweight design allows for sanding in hard-to-reach places such as mounted handrails and finished heat exchanger tubes. The low-wrap design cuts down on heat buildup and discoloration. Features include an ergonomic shape and a high-power motor.
