Pipe sander conceals weld seams, finishes stainless steel

CS Unitec's pipe sander conceals weld seams and provides a high-gloss finish on stainless steel. With an 11-amp, variable-speed electric or a 1-HP pneumatic motor with high torque, the sander finishes pipes from 3/8 to 10 in. dia. The ergonomic design provides flexibility, the company reports.

The sander features a continuous sanding belt speed adjustment from 33 to 100 FPS to accommodate pipe material, as well as a continuous belt tightening adjustment for pipe diameter. A polishing fleece for stainless steel and a variety of sanding belts are available.
