Table blaster redesign eliminates lower screw auger

Viking Blast & Wash Systems has released the redesigned 48T table blaster, which features an integral dust collector and a small footprint.

The new design eliminates the need for a lower screw auger, reducing wear while improving efficiency, reports the company. The air intake is more aggressive and allows for application of more airflow to keep the abrasive and cabinet cleaner. Features include 0.5-in. cast chrome/moly and 0.25-in. manganese or AR 500 replaceable liners.

The unit is equipped with a 15-in., 20-HP VK Powermax 1500 blast wheel and also can be fitted with a rotary scalping drum, auxiliary abrasive hoppers, peening packages, and various horsepower options. Custom sizes and wheel configurations accommodate specific application requirements. Stand-alone dust collection systems also are available.
