3-D laser cutter’s features help increase speed, cutting quality

Laser Photonics LLC offers Fonon Technologies’ Titan Express 44 multipurpose 3-D laser material processing system. It is configured with either a fiber laser or CO2 laser in wattages from 50 to 2,000 W. The system supports material sizes up to 4 by 4 ft. with an extension table expanding to 4 by 8 ft. It can process highly reflective, thin metals including aluminum, copper, brass, titanium, nickel, and bronze.

Features include a zero-friction direct-drive motion system and LiteBridge technology for rapid access across the working surface, laser placement accuracy, and accelerated processing speeds. True orthogonal mechanization eliminates system seizures and material misalignment with anti-jamming technology.

Fiber-optic delivery eliminates additional external mirrors. BurnFree technology and laser synchronized output eliminate laser burns around corners. TurboPiercing technology ensures fast piercing speeds while eliminating unnecessary crates in the material, the company states.
