Fiber laser processes thin sheets with 6g acceleration

Prima Power has introduced the Syncrono fiber laser, featuring 6g acceleration for processing thin sheets.

The system is two synchronized machines in one: one small, light head with high dynamics, and one larger machine with a wide working area. The two machines are coordinated by patented algorithms for optimum distribution of movements throughout the axes. An active compensation cancels the vibrations deriving from the high dynamics.

The machine can process such materials as high-reflecting brass and copper. Electricity consumption is reduced through the user of lower power and high source efficiency, without a turbine, optical chain, or filters.

It includes 5- and 7.5-in. lenses. The focal position is controlled automatically, with no material adjustment required from one material to another.
