Press Room Equipment Co. offers a line of upenders that accommodate 4,000- to 20,000-lb. coils.

A hand-held pendant with a 10-ft. curled cord controls the upender rotation (up/down). An electric motor with a fail-safe brake drives the upender. V beds, forklift portability tubes, and narrow coil retaining arms are standard. Special platform sizes, nonmarking V beds, and rotating bases are optional.
