Plasma torches keep consumables cool

American Torch Tip (ATTC®) launches the new PHDx series of torches for automated plasma cutting systems up to 260 amps.

The torch is designed to keep consumables cooler through improved heat dissipation. Cooler-running consumables last longer, reducing the number of changeouts needed and increasing the number of parts cut, according to the company. Test results show the torches and consumables result in a clean cut profile, negligible unintended bevel, and easily removable dross, the manufacturer states.

The company’s conversion kits simplify replacement of users’ current high-amp plasma torches. The torch comes with a 100 percent guarantee trial program.
