Replacement torches use one consumable part style
- July 23, 2012
- Product Release
- Plasma Cutting
Thermacut Inc. has introduced the RTS line of replacement plasma torches. These torches cover amperages from 12 to 120 and are designed to operate on manual plasma cutting systems using contact start (blow back or blow forward), high frequency, and capacitive-discharge starting methods.
The RTS 25C and RTS 45 torches are direct replacements for the Trafimet® S25K and S45, Nu-Tec® NPT40, Weldmart® Alpha 3A, and the Cebora® P30 plasma torches. Using maximum-flow technology, they feature parts in place (PIP) and safety lock trigger systems. The torches' design allows for the use of one style of consumable parts for all manual plasma cutting systems from 12 to 40 amps and eliminates the need for plungers, microswitches, or start cartridges.
The RTS 25C and RTS 45 torches are offered with optional lead sets: a sheathed cable with an option for a flexible coaxial cable, both for internal connection; and a coaxial cable and a European central-style connector for external connection.
