Makita has introduced the GA4534, a 4.5-in. paddle-switch angle grinder. Its 6-amp motor delivers 11,000 RPM for use in welding, shipyard, automotive, HVAC, and electrical applications.
According to the manufacturer, the grinder has the smallest barrel grip on the market and is the most compact and lightweight paddle-switch angle grinder in its class.
The unit is engineered with nonprotruding brush holders and a motor housing that reduce the barrel diameter to 2.1875 in. It weighs 4.2 lbs., and the side handle is positioned at an increased 20-degree angle for comfort and control. Labyrinth construction seals and protects the motor and bearings from dust and debris.
