Semiautomatic band saw designed for heavy-duty production sawing

The Kalamazoo Machine Tool model KS450 semiautomatic band saw is designed for heavy-duty production sawing. The frame is canted 5 degrees to cut through the bottom of a structural section without vibration or reduction in the sawing rate.

The saw has a variable-speed blade from 60 to 360 FPM that can saw solids and structural shapes up to 14 in. at 90 degrees in full-cycle, semiautomatic operation. It also can double-miter 60 degrees to the left or right.

The fully hydraulic machine features a freestanding operator console that can be placed in the desired location.
