Flying shears offer +/-0.0625-in. length tolerance up to 200 FPM
The Bradbury Co. Inc. has introduced 24- and 36-in.-wide Mini B.O.S.S.™ flying shears to complement the existing 48-in. model.
The 24-in. model is suitable for trim roll forming lines and standing seam lines, while the 36-in. model can be used for narrow panel lines such as corrugated and 5V panels. Its servo acceleration and closed-loop controls provide +/-0.0625-in. length tolerance at any speed up to 200 FPM.
The shears do not require a conveyor for part separation, making them suitable for upgrades or retrofits to existing equipment.
