Cost estimating software enhanced
MTI Systems has released version 11.0 of its Costimator cost estimating software, featuring several changes.
Multiple tabs, customizable toolbars, and helpful images have been added to the work screen to help improve ease of use. Drag-and-drop functionality has been expanded to enable users to move or copy operations and details within or between multiple estimates.
More than 100 new cost models have been added in the areas of tooling, fixtures, product models, process models, machining, and fabrication features. User paths can be selected and implemented after initial setup, simplifying IT administration for use in a wide-area network (WAN).
The software now is available in three versions (express, professional, and premium) and two licensing options (perpetual and subscription).
