Demo tool management system introduced

Kennametal Inc. has expanded its ToolBOSS™ tool management system. The new Flex Unit is a smaller, portable demo unit that the manufacturer is making available to its distribution channel partners.

At 100 lbs., the demo unit includes a computer loaded with the full version of ToolBOSS Inventory Manager software, a standard touchscreen, and two preconfigured tray levels. It is the same width and depth as a full-size frame, but only 23 in. high, allowing distributors to show a variety of tray and drawer sizes for large and small shops. It starts with eight drawers, and more can be added up to 26 levels.
