High-bay fixture protects, deflects heat from LED

Big Ass Fans’ new Big Ass Light division has unveiled a high-bay LED fixture. Manufactured from a solid piece of anodized, extruded aluminum that includes ribbed fins at the top, the structure acts as a heat sink to move heat away from the fixture and LEDs, helping to increase the LED lifespan.

The fixture has narrow, regular, and wide trays, so users can redirect light from 55 degrees to 85 or 105 degrees as their floor layouts change. This lumen maintenance tray also protects the LED from collisions, dirt, and debris and can be wiped down or replaced to allow the light to shine fully again.
