Sample kit helps engineers find appropriate bearing material

The dry-tech® box from igus® Inc. is a sample kit designed to help engineers find the right bearing material for their applications. The box contains a set of card overlays that filter the bearing choices by criteria.

The sample box includes an array of iglide® bearings, from iglide H for corrosive environments to iglide A350 for temperatures up to 356 degrees F. It also contains a bearing guide that highlights the key properties of each bearing.

All of the manufacturer’s bearings have dry-running properties, making them lubrication-free and maintenance-free.
