Software automates BOM data conversion

Exact JobBOSS has announced the release of the JobBOSS BOM Import, which automates the process of entering BOM data into production requirements. The software captures data from a single or multilevel BOM structure and imports it into JobBOSS to create quotes and jobs. In addition, assemblies and materials listed in the BOM that are not currently entered into JobBOSS can be created automatically to ensure the material structure is in place for the quote or order.

This automated import process removes the need to enter BOM data manually as production requirements. According to the manufacturer, this automation reduces the process from weeks to minutes.
