Flowmeter's measuring accuracy is 0.1 percent of rate

Siemens Corp. has introduced the ultracompact Sitrans FC410, the lightest-weight Coriolis flowmeter for skid and machine builders. The flowmeter has a measuring accuracy of 0.1 percent of rate. With dimensions of 10.4 by 11 by 3.5 in. and a weight of 10 lbs. in the 0.5-in. sensor, the meter is suitable for integration into machine and plant construction or for frame-mounted equipment in the chemical, oil and gas, and food and beverage industries.

With the new Mini Flow Link concept, built-in transmitter functionalities to the sensor permit fast data transmission and flexible installation in confined spaces without the need for additional transmitters. The digital MFL features a signal update rate of 10 ms and provides the mass flow, volume flow, density, and temperature of the medium.

The sensor’s CompactCurve design gives it a stable zero point, low pressure loss, and resistance to process noise.
