Hydraulic universal testing system has two test spaces

Instron® has introduced its SATEC™ 1500HDX hydraulic universal testing system designed with two test spaces, allowing users to change between high-capacity tension and compression tests quickly without removing heavy fixtures.

The flexible design helps to ensure safety, reduce user fatigue, and provide increased efficiency. It can test up to 1,500 kN, making it suitable for metal, steel, and tube and pipe applications.

Constructed with chrome-plated columns, an adjustable upper crosshead, and standard motorized lower crosshead, the system offers flexibility for configuring the size of test spaces. It comes equipped with built-in hydraulic wedge action grips located inside the crosshead, suitable for a variety of tensile applications.
