Silicon purge dams reduce weld joint purging time

Orbimatic (UK) Ltd. now offers JA welding purging equipment, including silicon dam purging systems for localizing purging volume inside tube and pipe. The systems are designed to reduce both the gas amount used and the time it takes to purge welded joints.

The systems can be enhanced with a suitable weld purge meter that immediately indicates the oxygen content in the weld purging gas.

A modular component construction allows custom systems to be configured and individual parts to be replaced as necessary.
