Abrasive waterjet cutting machines featured at tradeshow

OMAX™ Corp. will present live demonstrations of its abrasive waterjet cutting machines and accessories at IMTS 2012.
Operating at the show will be a 6.7- by 20-ft., production-oriented OMAX 80X-1 Dual Bridge JetMachining Center™; a job shop-sized, 5- by 10-ft. MAXIEM® model 1530; and a compact 2.5- by 2.5-ft. MAXIEM model 0707 JetCutting Center. Accessories will include advanced articulated cutting heads for automatic taper compensation and beveled cutting, computer-controlled Z axes for vertical contours, rotary axes for cutting cylindrical components, and a variety of pump and nozzle sizes.
The machines feature the company's exclusive Intelli-MAX® software suite, which runs on the Windows® 7 Ultimate operating system. The software, which automates programming and tool setup work, is suitable for quick-turnaround, short-run projects as well as large-volume, mass-production projects.
In addition to machine demonstrations, the company will provide in-booth technical presentations and special educational hours, giving visitors the opportunity to speak one-on-one with staff.
