Waterjet system delivers up to 55,000 PSI

The 2652 JetMachining® Center from Omax® cuts standard-size steel and aluminum sheets. It has a direct-drive, high-pressure water pump capable of pressurizing water to as high as 55,000 PSI.

The Tilt-A-Jet® feature tilts the waterjet nozzle so the stream contacts the material at a variety of angles. The smooth and continuous tilt, controlled by Intelli-MAX® software, helps eliminate taper in the finished part, the company reports.
