Calstrip Industries installs Braner/Loopco multiblanking line
Calstrip Industries has installed a Braner/Loopco CNC cassette leveler flying shear CTL/multiblanking system in its Blytheville, Ark., coil processing center. The system has capacity to convert 30-ton by 72-in.-wide bare and coated carbon steel, aluminum alloy, and stainless coil in gauges to 0.135 in. into sheets and precision blanks.
The multiblanker is equipped with a cassette-style CNC roller leveler, PVC and interleaved paper applicators, precision quickset multiblank slitter, flat passline servo-driven flying shear, on-the-fly product inspection station, hands-off reject system, and automatic skid injector.
